Mel Fisher Maritime Museum
This rat bone came from one of the wrecks Mel dived on. When a ship goes down, rats die too. Mel is best known for finding the wreck of the Atocha off the Florida Keys which was featured on the History Channel. It was loaded with spanish treasure. Finding it took a great deal of time and money as well as 3 lives including that of his son and daughter-in-law.
