To find water, look for the green willows

There you will find an alligator hole dug out by an alligator to live in during the dry season. Some 80% of the Everglades wildlife die during the dry season every year. Yet, with all that death it does not smell bad there. Buzzards keep the area cleaned up very well. I suggest timing your visit to avoid the worst of the mosquitoes. They are big, painful, and ruthless.
