The fences up there reminded me of a movie

With the fog fading in and out and these particular fences, I was reminded of an old sci-fi movie where aliens landed in a sand pit below the fence and used a probe to take over the minds of locals. Only a boy could stop them but no one would believe him. Do-de-do-do.
